Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT works on the principle that our behaviour and emotions depend to a large degree on our perception of what we understand is happening. What we think and anticipate can greatly affect our reaction to events and people. Having understood what you are thinking and how to deal with your thoughts, it is possible to train yourself to respond in a different way. This new style of thinking and behaving can lead to a potentially more satisfying way of life, becoming part of your normal lifestyle.

CBT uses practical techniques and exercises to help you make lasting changes in the way in which you think and behave in order to help you feel better. These techniques have been developed from extensive research. Studies indicate that treatments for psychological disorders based on CBT principles:

Are as effective as medication in treating many psychological disorders and often more effective in effecting long lasting change and preventing relapse

Are particularly effective for common mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and difficulties with anger

Can help if you have a low opinion of yourself, or physical health problems like pain or fatigue

Can also be useful in helping to manage more severe mental health problems like bipolar disorder and psychosis

Transpersonal Regression Therapy (TASSO Model)

Trans means beyond and Personal implies the ego. Regression plainly means going back in time. There can be many issues where rational damage controlling, behavioural changes or cognitive tools & techniques may not help or may not be enough. They may require deeper probing, exploration and understanding of the issue. That’s why it is important that we go back to the origin of the issue.

Such issues can range anywhere from chronic depression, generalised anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder to obsessive compulsive disorder, body syndromes like fibromyalgia, cancer or even autoimmune diseases.

Transpersonal Regression Therapy focusses on a Cognitive model of verbal exploration through which practitioners gain access to the issue - which maybe psychological, emotional, mental or physical. Most of the time, the work is with the body and is focussed on releasing the cellular memory that might be carried across the developmental phase independent of time and space. TASSO as an institute and a model of Therapy work does not believe in creating a trance to take the person back in time; infact the trance happens by itself through the questionnaire. It only believes in experiences, and the moment the person is able to experience the feeling in his body, he/she is also able to recollect a part of his memory, and "memory" can only happen when a person is already in Regression. The Transpersonal Model is effective in its approach and fundamentality because it works towards making a concrete contract for every session and achieving that contract by the end of the session.

Past Life Regression Therapy

We live in a time and age where we are constantly struggling to find some meaning in life. For most of us, we are either going through an existential dilema or crisis where we are trying to figure out a purpose to this life. A significant part of Transpersonal Regression Therapy is Past Life Regression Therapy. Through this methodology we can go back in time to figure out that meaning and purpose that most us are looking for. Past Life Regression therefore is not only a spiritual process for the soul to reach its highest potential, but is also a real range of tools and techniques by which any issue can be solved that seems irrational, that feels out of your voluntary control and perhaps not rooted to your current lifetime.

Inner Child Integration Therapy

As human beings we are a multifaceted group of individuals. We exist in multiple states of awareness namely physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. While we grow up, we invariably go through a series of events and incidents that propel us to develop a set of belief systems and postulates that become our software. These beliefs and postulates are the programs that drive us for the rest of our lives. The problem arises when these beliefs and ideas no longer work for us, they affect our states of awareness and we still go on carrying them making them the truths of our lives.

Inner Child Integration Therapy helps us to go back to where the formation of all these beliefs, ideas and programs happened. These are the times when either as a result of trauma or an accident, maybe as a result of abuse, a dysfunctional family or under the effect of authority we lose parts of ourselves and become scattered and damaged. It is then that we have to look at this therapeutic model to collect those scattered parts and work towards integration. Here we strive to work towards wholeness, towards integration and achieve the transcendental state to which we all essentially belong.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT finds its origin way back over 5000 years ago, in the Ancient Chinese Shaolin and Taoist monasteries, where the subtle energies and meridians that travel throughout the body were first mapped. It’s a technique to eliminate stress, tension, anxiety and negativity that involve two things: gentle tapping on the energy meridians and talking about the issue. So, it’s the only form of talk plus touch therapy that works brilliantly and within seconds. It is tried, tested and clinically proven to work best for post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, abuse, depression, insomnia, heart and lung disease, addiction, autoimmune diseases, unexplained pain, cravings and cancer.
